Hi, I’m Reb. I’m a Renaissance gal, interested in a bunch of things. Because life is short and why not? I’m from Vancouver Island in Canada, but I have a special passion for the U.K. – specifically a little town called Lewes that has a castle and an unusual penchant for blowing things up. My hobbies include long distance walking, reading, cooking and blogging. I really enjoy montages in ’80s movies, as well as marmite and my family. Things I dislike include tailgaters and incomprehensible foreign shower dials. I am inspired by Larry David, Ricky Gervais and Nick Hornby. When I grow up, I hope to be wise but childish.

You’ve just tweeted that you’d like somewhere to stay in Lewes. I’ve just set up a B&B (not quite as splendid as your friend’s in BC but cosy and comfortable) and I have availability in March. We could certainly do a deal for a two week stay!

We were searching around and found your post about free parking day in Toronto and how wonderful it was for you to share that. We have developed an app for the users of the iPhone/iPad to find free parking. Park ‘in’ Spot is a complete and free parking app for people living in Toronto. It has locations of all the free parking spots as well as the rates of all the parking meters and parking lots so people can save as much money as possible.
